Terrorist attack in Istanbul: Turkish police shoot two people. 34 people have now been arrested.
They are suspected of being in contact with the left-wing extremist DKHP-C. The DHKP-C is classified as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the USA and the EU. The attack brings back memories of the case of public prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz. During the police rescue operation, the prosecutor was fatally injured. The woman then pulls out her pistol and shoots at least one police officer in the camera's field of view, who also opens fire.
