[HIGHLIGHTS] The all-clear after a bomb threat at several schools in Neuwied

The email with the threat was received at five schools in Neuwied. The perpetrator or perpetrators announced that a bomb would explode at 12 p.m.

The affected schools were three special needs schools, one primary school and one vocational school. After a few hours, the emergency services were able to give the all-clear. The schools were partially evacuated after the bomb threat. Over a thousand children and young people were affected by the threat. After the police operation, those responsible in the schools were given the freedom to decide whether classes would still take place.
