The three terrorists who carried out the shooting attack on Highway 1 near Ma'ale Adumim this morning (Thursday) are Palestinians residents of Bethlehem and the area. One civilian was killed in the attack and 8 others were injured, 2 of them in a serious condition.
The investigation of the attack reveals that the three arrived at the scene in two vehicles and fired from M-16 and Carlo automatic weapons. Two terrorists were neutralized by civilians and the security forces on the spot, the third was neutralized after trying to escape from the scene. One of the citizens who neutralized the terrorists: a reservist who finished several months of fighting in Gaza.
