Screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation between two mothers have been circulating on Facebook. The mother of the birthday girl claimed that a gift of NIS 50 was not enough to cover the costs of her daughter's birthday, so she was not invited.
Mother of the second girl asked to consider her financial situation and explain to the other children that "every gift is a gift", but was met with a refusal. The post that was uploaded to the web drew harsh reactions from many surfers who were shocked by the conversation between the two mothers.
