The Supreme Court of Justice rejected appeals from the former Secretary of Public Works of Cristina Kirchner. He had been sentenced to seven years and six months in prison.
The former official could not explain the origin of the 9 million dollars that he threw to the nuns of General Rodríguez on June 14, 2016. The judge who must decide if the case will go to trial again spoke of "cruelty" and "armed causes" for the former official's actions.
