The solar park was built on the former construction waste dump in the municipality of Hilgertshausen-Tandern and was opened for use in 2011. The system covers a total of 3.5 hectares and supplies around 380 households with environmentally friendly electricity. The 2.7 million project was financed by Sparkasse Dachau.
