The future of the Eichenried women's community hangs in the balance. Chairwoman Renate Schraufstetter, treasurer Gerlinde Ratberger and secretary Hannelore Adam will be at the helm until the end of the year.
The membership list, which currently numbers 213 women, shows that the continued existence of the community is important. Church activities such as praying the Way of the Cross and the October rosaries, decorating a Corpus Christi altar and a joint trip to Altötting could only be continued with new board.
