The school council of Georges-Mercier elementary school in Coubron voted for the wearing of the blouse from the start of the 2024 school year. Mayor Ludovic Toro also wanted to experiment with wearing this blouse at Paul-Bert, the town's second school, but the school council rejected the measure on Tuesday evening.
At the end of January, 65.38% of families supported wearing the blouses in a vote organized by parent-teacher associations. “We need to discuss its color, the badge that we are going to put on it,” explains the mayor.
