The Government made Ricardo Lagorio official as permanent representative to the UN. The ambassador had already performed duties at the diplomatic headquarters in Washington between 2000 and 2003.
Lagorio served as ambassador to Russia during the Cambiemos Government, was arranged through Decree 99/2024. The regulations by which he was appointed bear the signatures of President Javier Milei and Chancellor Diana Mondino. He is a career diplomat who already served in the Argentine mission to the United Nations between 1982 and 1989; and in the Argentina embassy in Washington.
