The Greens want to continue to govern in Saxony. The party is self-confident, but is weakening in the polls.
In the 2019 state elections, the party received 8.6 percent of the vote. In current surveys it is currently at 7.0 percent. The state list of Alliance 90/The Greens is to be drawn up at a party conference in Chemnitz in mid-March. The Greens are in favor of a massive expansion of renewable energies; public buildings and squares in the Free State should primarily be used for solar modules.
