The High Court of Justice issued a conditional order today (Thursday) and stated that the state must explain why Education Minister Yoav Kish decided to cancel the Israel Prize this year. According to the order, Kish will be required to answer by March 21 why his decision will not be revoked.
The chairman of Tikva Khadasha, Minister Gideon Sa'ar, responded to the High Court's decision: "The court gave the Minister of Education one last chance to withdraw from an illegitimate and outrageous decision"
