The indictment against the senior attorney who ran over an elderly pedestrian to death was canceled Israel today. The Military Prosecutor's Office withdrew the letter of indictment that was filed against Amri Koffler.
According to the examiner, the findings of the accident show very borderline guilt on the part of the driver. This is the first time in Israel that an indictment has been filed against an incumbent attorney. The case was transferred to the military attorney's office. The prosecution asked the court to order the cancellation of the indictment, and its request was granted.
