Talks between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the heads of the ultra-Orthodox factions reached an impasse today. The government will not meet soon to advance a decision on the exemption of ultra-orthedim who "teach their art" from enlisting in the IDF.

Officials in the government said that the possibility of requesting an extension to submit the state's answer is being considered, despite the opposition of the ombudsman. The parties do not have a solution that will be able to provide an answer immediately by midnight tonight.
