The license of the Rambam brother Oren Hannaiv, who was convicted of sexual offenses against children, was permanently revoked. The Ministry of Health filed the complaint against him last July, when he had already started serving 18 months of actual imprisonment following his confession and conviction as part of a plea deal.
Hannaiv was arrested alongside his friend, 35-year-old Yaakov Danil from Ramat Gan, who is suspected of committing a sexual offense against a baby less than a year old. According to the police, the investigation revealed that in Danil's possession were found thousands of films and photos with distinct pedophile content.
