The local council sets the first course for the Warngau solar park. Around 5,016 solar modules could be installed on the 3.2 hectares with a total output of around 3 megawatts (MW) This could generate around 3,560 megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity annually - enough to cover almost a quarter of the community's consumption.
The investment amount is estimated at 2.3 million euros. An agri-PV system is planned: the meadow under the up to 3.50 meter high modular tables will continue to be used for agriculture.
