The Moralt area is to become a new Tölzer district: waiting for an urban development contract. City statutes stipulate that if building land is designated, a third of the area must be sold by the city for social housing.
The easiest way to solve the development is with the old stock from 1924. It is a listed building. Business, offices, a hotel and restaurants could quickly start up here. But Mayor Mehner is hoping that the area will have a boost in solving the moral bottleneck.
