The municipality of Herrsching wants to expand paid parking. At the most recent meeting, the committee did not agree on which additional areas parking should cost in the future.
12 council members supported introducing parking fees there in an initial vote, and just as many spoke out against it. No machines should be installed in areas far from the center where controls cannot be ensured and cars are therefore permanently parked, it was said. The parking bays on Mitterweg and in Reineckestraße at the cemetery were considered difficult for parking space management.
