The municipality of Pliening is taking out an eight million loan this year. The main reasons for this are the construction of multi-story apartments (Alte Schule Gelting) and the ongoing construction of a senior citizens' facility in the Plieningen center.
The general direction of the budget for 2024 had already been determined in the previous weeks; not least in the Finance Committee on March 7th. The current year will then be completed with a budget that has a volume of around 39.33 million euros.
