The National Assembly rejects the first motion of censure against Gabriel Attal. Only 124 voted favorably for this motion, which required 289 votes, or more than half of the elected representatives of the Lower House, to bring down the government.

The deputies from both camps did not make any appearances. The rejection of this motion was predictable. But in no way prejudges the possible fate of similar texts which could be submitted in the coming months. As soon as they get the government, they will bring it down. We will have to be very attentive.
