The NRW city wants to make finding a parking space much easier – with a unique method. “Parking in Buer’ is a new function of the Gelsenkirchen city app that provides information about the city.
The program shows which of the approximately 2,000 parking spaces in the district are currently occupied. If the space has been occupied by another car in the meantime, the driver will automatically be directed to the next available parking space. In the future, the system could also be used in other parts of GelsenKirchen.
