Despite the appreciation we have for the soldiers of the IDF - still yeshiva students who labor in the Holy Torah - they have an integral part in the success of the security campaign, explains Rabbi Shai Tahan. Rabbi Tahan brought the words of the Holy Zohar which speaks of how there were two altars in the Mishkan.
By doing so they atone for wrongdoings and sins, and the inner altar on which they burned incense. This is where we also learn the value of Torah study.
