Helsinki accuses Moscow of causing a migration crisis, could extend the closure of its border decided last year. Vyborg is only about thirty kilometers from the border, but it has been closed since the mid-November.

Finland has, however, decided “not to open the border in the near future”, declared the Finnish foreign minister on Thursday. The border, 1,340 kilometers long, with its eight crossing points, was then completely closed, theoretically until February 11.
