The Senate discusses Javier Milei's DNU: what will happen if it is rejected. Whatever the result of the vote, the issue will go to Deputies.
The DNU came into force on December 29, 2023, that is, eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, which was on December 21. Since then, many questions have been raised about its validity, largely due to the large number of topics it contains. The Government highlighted in advance that Congress has never rejected a DNU in the 40 years of democracy.
