The solar park is to be built on four green areas that cover a total of 18 hectares. Citizens can participate in three of the areas.
Flat photovoltaic modules are installed on all areas, not special agri-PV modules, but which still allow sheep or cattle to be grazed. A separate transformer station and an electricity storage facility will also be built right next to the PV ground-mounted systems. “In combination with wind energy, we can ensure the long-term energy supply,” says Mayor Georg Saur.
