Matías Alejandro Guiñazú (44) stabbed his partner, María Soledad Ibañez (44), to death in Merlo. He injured himself with the same blade to avoid arrest, but they managed to capture him.
The man remains detained but reserved prognosis of recovery, hospital sources confirmed. He is not in a position to testify and that is why he has not been investigated by the prosecutor. “He was a man who had no destiny in life," said the victim's mother.
