The sudden end of the public transport model project “MUT” causes disappointment in Lower Allgäu. A total of 24.25 million euros were earmarked for various improvements in the transport area of the Mittelschwaben Transport Association.
The federal government had promised funding of 80 percent of the costs for the project, which should be transferred to other areas if successful. Now all five projects from the “third funding call” have been canceled.
