The volunteer fire department recorded a high workload with 338 missions. Last year, the active members worked 7,626 hours in exercises and training alone.
The Floriansjüngers were also heavily stressed by traffic accidents, chemical accidents, snow clearing operations and the flooding on the Loisach-Isar Canal. During the major fire in the Gerb car repair shop on Geltinger Straße on March 8th, the new HLF 20 emergency fire engine was in use for more than eleven hours.
