Shalom Rotban was found just over a month ago walking on a road near Amman. The Jordanian residents who found him brought him to a mental health hospital.
There, Arab-Israeli volunteers realized he was Israeli and were able to contact his family. Rotban has been missing since May 2, 2021, and there was grave fear for his life. In 2012, a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip hit a building in Kiryat Malachi, killing three friends of Shalom, who was only 13 at the time.
