According to official figures from the town hall, 895 dog owners currently have a total of 977 dogs. Increasing the dog tax should bring in an additional 44,000 euros per year. The increase in the business tax rate (from 380 to 400 percentage points) is expected to bring an additional 780,000 euro per year into the city coffers. Starting this year, the tax rate for the first dog is to be increased from 60 to 100 euros, and for each additional dog from 100 to 200 euros. 1000 euros are then due for each fighting dog.
