The Val Parisis agglomeration offers a scholarship of 10,000 euros per year to medical interns, in exchange for a 3-year installation on the job. Amelle, 25, an intern at Argenteuil hospital (Val-d'Oise), will soon work as a general practitioner in one of the fifteen municipalities.
Four doctors are still in activity after having benefited from this scholarship. After modest beginnings, it gained momentum last year. The community signed this partnership with two medical students in 2018, one in 2019 and one in 2020.
