Ignacio Arce, a Platense goalkeeper, was arrested on Tuesday. He is accused of hitting his partner, a sports journalist.
The victim has injuries to his right leg. Arce had arrived in Platense with the pass in his possession at the end of December, after playing for Unión La Calera in Chile. He signed a contract until December 2023, with the option to extend the link for another year. He took his first steps in football at the age of 9 in Argentinos, a neighborhood club in his city.
