Ecunhi, an entity with its own space within the former Esma property, will be deactivated, along with all its programs. It was directed in recent years by Verónica Parodi, daughter of the former Minister of Culture Teresa Parodi.
The final decision was made after receiving the request for a budget update with a 45% increase, which would raise the annual cost to 82,504,481.28 pesos. It is not the first time that the Ecunhi is questioned; during the government of Mauricio Macri, the possibility of regrouping the different small institutions was considered.
