Change takes effect starting this Wednesday at 8 p.m. and aims to speed up circulation.

It will be free during Easter and then a toll of $3,553 will be paid. The Paseo del Bajo, inaugurated in May 2019, was the first smart highway with barrier-free tolls for heavy transportation. It connects the 25 de Mayo and Ricardo Balbín highways (Buenos Aires-La Plata) with the Illia highway and facilitates access to the Port of Buenos Aires and the Retiro Bus Terminal.
