The Lyon branch of the Anti-Narcotics Office (Ofast) made two significant seizures in December and January. At the end of 2023, its investigators arrested two people from the Rhône-Alpes region suspected of being part of a major drug import network from Spain.
On the night of January 29 to 30, Ofast police officers witnessed a new maneuver in the Gard involving the unloading of a heavy goods vehicle onto a utility vehicle. On site, a search of the vehicle revealed a ton of cannabis resin and 15.5 kg of cannabis herb.
