The helicopter of former Chilean president Sebastián Piñera crashed this Tuesday in the commune of Lago Ranco, in the Los Ríos region in the south of the country. One of the occupants of the device lost his life in the incident, according to the local press.
Three of them were injured when the helicopter fell into the lake around three in the afternoon (local time), but they managed to swim to shore. The identity of those affected has not yet been released.
