This winter the warmest ever recorded in Valle d'Aosta. Average temperature of the three winter months was +5°C, more than three degrees higher than the thirty-year average (1991-2020) equal to 1.9° C.
Three hot periods (in the week of Christmas, at the end of January and at the beginning of February) with minimum temperatures above 10°C. The minimum temperature was -9.6°C on 7 December. Average winter rainfall in the region was 190 millimetres, over 50 millimeters more than the average for the period.
