On Thursday, the US House of Representatives passed a bill that requires the network to cut its ties with China, in the name of national security. The voted text “places the U.S in the opposite direction to the principle of fair competition and to international rules on economics and trade,” declared Wang Wenbin, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the press.
