Three seriously injured in accident on A2. Driver found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Road towards Hanover was closed; a traffic jam formed. Two cars collided. But there were no injuries. The road had to be cleaned due to leaking fluids. The closures were lifted again in the afternoon. The accident happened at 1:30 a.m. near Braunschweig on the A2 near Hanover. The driver and two other passengers, aged 60 and 23, were seriously injured.
