Walpertskirchen is planning a big festival weekend with historical village life on July 13th and 14th to mark the community's 1275th anniversary. Craftsmanship using ancient techniques will be presented at various stations.
There will be a petting zoo, a farm garden, an exhibition on railways and firefighting as well as historical performances by the fire department. Six music groups are supposed to create a great atmosphere. The festival committee is open to further ideas and design suggestions and would be happy to receive any support. Helpers are also being sought for assembly and dismantling.
