Thuringian students want to undermine the AfD in elections - with a simple trick. The slogan “92 days’ is intended primarily to appeal to students who have moved to Weimar to study, according to a statement from the leading Bauhaus University Weimar.
Many could theoretically take part in the elections, but were not registered at their place of study. Changing registration could also be financially worthwhile for the students. For example, in Ilmenau this is 80 euros per year or in Schmalkalden 50 euros per semester.
