TikTok Notes could be Instagram's next rival. No official announcement but a series of screenshots shared by the specialized site TechCrunch.
Some users, especially in the United States, would also have received a notification in the main TikTok app anticipating the arrival of the app. In March, some developers spotted references to a software called TikTok Photos in the code of the TikTok Android app. However, recent notices indicate a name change for the new solution.. TikTok is also experimenting with different formats such as 30-minute videos and text posts similar to X eThreads to broaden its user base. The company says it is exploring ways to allow our community to create and share their creativity with photos and text in a dedicated space for those formats. The new platform will focus exclusively on images and will be available in iOS and Android. The app is expected to be available later this year, according to TechCrunch reports. It has not been confirmed by TikTok if it will launch in the U.S.
