The two-year-old was evacuated, anesthetized and on a ventilator, to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. Her family pulled her out of the water and began performing CPR on her until her heart started beating again.
"We continued the medical treatment and evacuated her to the hospital," said a paramedic who arrived at the scene. Last month, a one-and-a-half- year-old toddler drowned to death in a private pool in a house in the community of Be'er Ganim near Ashkelon.
