The US Secretary of State will visit Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Among the goals of the visit: forging a deal for the release of the abductees, increasing humanitarian aid to Gaza, limiting the developing military conflict in the north as well as possible promotion of normalization and a solution to the Palestinian problem.
Lincoln will continue discussions to encourage the creation of regional normalization, which may include, in accordance with the American expectation, the establishment of a Palestinian state.
