Too much effort: City cycling is canceled due to a lack of staff. Last year there were 812 participants in Eichenau who formed 20 teams.

In total they had covered 80,313 kilometers. This saved around 13 tons of CO2. With this result, the district secured fourth place behind Puchheim, Gröbenzell and Alling. The Starzelbachschule proved to be the most active group, cycling around 14,500 kilometers with nine classes. The community's sports officer says they won't allow themselves to be burdened with this task because they are sufficiently busy organizing the sports activities.
