Moosburg's new town hall will offer 345 square meters more space. Mayor Josef Dollinger praises planners and trades at topping-out ceremony.

Dollinger expresses self-criticism for temporarily closing Herrnstrasse for the construction site. The conversion of the former residents' registration office in the old building will cost another million euros, as, among other things, the entire electrical system needs to be replaced. The mayor also dared to make a prediction on the occasion: “Without wanting to prejudge the city council, I think we also have to tackle the upper floors as soon as possible.” He didn't think it could have as big an impact as it might have had, Dollinger said, but said he was still convinced “that the closure was the right decision” It would not have been possible to work properly with free through traffic, the mayor said, adding that he hopes it will no longer be seen as so tragic in retrospect. The new Huber House is expected to be completed around the turn of the year.
