City of Garching is spending around 500,000 euros for digital boards. Digital teaching is becoming increasingly important in schools.
Many classrooms already have interactive boards with projectors. They are causing ever greater problems and would have to be replaced in order to ensure proper teaching. Teachers are now largely preparing for digital lessons. A device costs around 9,000 euro including installation, cable and holder - with 55 digital boards that costs the city around half a million euros. The estimate is based on the price the high school paid for panels.
