Affected the southern carriageway, between Fabro and Orvieto, in the province of Terni no serious injuries. First accident occurred around 15 pm at kilometer 447 and involved an empty fuel tanker truck, of which the driver lost control, knocking down the central guardrail and ending up sideways on the roadway.
Shortly after 17 pm, following the long queue formed after the first accident, there was a rear-end collision involving a heavy vehicle and two cars. No injuries were reported in this case.
