Russia fired barrages of missiles at Ukraine in the middle of the day. All missiles were intercepted and there were no reports of casualties.
Attack follows two nights of drone attacks on the capital and more than a dozen this month. "Anyone who tries to scare us, dreams that it will have any effect, you will regret it very soon," Ukraine's military intelligence chief warned Russia of a swift response after firing barrages at the country in broad daylight. A video circulated by President Zelenskyy's wife shows children running in fear and covering their heads with their hands to the sound of an explosion.
