Trains are running again between Karlsruhe and Neustadt. Unknown people had stolen hundreds of meters of fiber optic and copper cable along the route.
Because of the crime on Thursday night in the Knielingen district, there were significant restrictions on regional and S-Bahn traffic. The RE 6, RB 51 and the S 3 were affected by the incident. The railway completed repairs on the railway line on Friday afternoon. Trains there have been running regularly again since 2:30 p.m.
