Tram driver beaten by passenger in Milan. Attacker was stopped after a chase on foot by local police officers.
Driver suffered several bruises on his face and neck. He was immediately attacked by the man who, after the scuffle, fled on foot only to be stopped shortly afterwards by the officers. The driver stopped the line 9 vehicle near the Pirelli skyscraper, headquarters of the Lombard Regional Council, in via FabioFilzi, to ascertain what was happening on the tram.
